2026-10-07The 2026 Hi-Po Star Selection, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), recently concluded. This year’s selection attracted 261 startup teams from across Taiwan, spanning three sectors: Deep Tech, Consumer Tech, and Green Tech. Following a rigorous two-stage selection process, Mega Radiance stood out among numerous applicants and was named one of the finalists in the Deep Tech category on the strength of its AI medical imaging R&D capabilities and proven real-world implementation.
Mega Radiance specializes in value-added healthcare data services. Its core product, CanWellBeing, utilizes cutting-edge AI algorithms to transform the complex and time-consuming interpretation of abdominal medical images into intuitive health metrics and timely risk alerts. By helping individuals understand their muscle quality, the solution lays the foundation for healthier living through preventive medicine. The service was officially launched earlier this year at the Health Management Center of National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH).
Mega Radiance sincerely thanks the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration, MOEA, and the judging panel for recognizing the strength of the company’s R&D team. Looking ahead, Mega Radiance will continue to advance its core AI technologies and work with more clinical and industry partners to build a new healthcare data ecosystem that benefits both physicians and patients.
